Hello! I’m K. P. Whitlomb, but in this realm, please refer to me as Slaughteranne! I’m a very casual gamer who has just gotten into Star Citizen, an upcoming PC game put out by Cloud Imperium Games. The game itself is in open alpha, so not even at the beta stage. And sure, it’s full of controversy and complaints but this game…is utterly amazing!

This site is going to help me share what I learn and find out about the game by actually going through the game itself while it’s in its alpha stage. We’re talking bugs, we’re talking concept ships, and we’re definitely talking money spent compared to entertainment received!

I’ll share with you the instructions that I’ve learned as I’ve played, any tips I pick up on how things are done, and what you can expect if you dare to enter the ‘verse yourself. I’ll show you screenshots of some crazy things, and share what news I can. But a lot of the real pro stuff, I’m going to leave to the much more professional and hard core gamers. There are a lot of great sites about Star Citizen already, and I’m not going to try to compete with them. What I am going to do is offer you, my fellow casual gamers and newbies, a chance to experience the game through my wacky adventures, so you can decide for yourself.

Is it worth it? Is it worth the money, and the effort? Is it any different from any other game out there? Is it as expensive and controversial as people portray it to be? Or is it, even in alpha, just something amazing to play to take your mind off your world-on-fire existence?
